TOP LOC 1805 MiVoice MX-ONE Manager Suite (Manager Provisioning & Service Node Manager)

Manager Provisioning and the Service Node Manager are Mitel adapted network management applications. Although this course will only cover the installation and configuration of the MiVoice MX-ONE related parts, the result will be a complete working environment due to the hands-on exercises. Students will understand the basic functionality and use of MP and SNM.

Mitel Manager Provisioning & Service Node Manager course is designed for engineers who have to support, install, configure and maintain the sustaining part of the MiVoice MX-ONE system as well as for IT staff who deals with the handling fault location in customer network environment.

The course provides a web based GUI in which the majority of the features can be configured and maintained of the software in the Telephony Server and other Servers that need to be monitored. It does not cover installation, configuration or maintenance of any operating system or applications as related to the product.

The course is designed for Service Partners, System Administrators and Customer Engineers who need a technical and detailed understanding of the MiVoice MX-ONE Manager Provisioning & Service Node Manager solution.

Although the MiVoice MX-ONE Manager Suite is a stand-alone application, the management product covers a wide range of hardware and software. Therefore, students must have some basic understanding of the different operating systems and applications touched.

After the course the students will be able:

• To describe access and use of command line on the Webinterface
• To list the available shells
• To describe the installation of MP and SNM
• To describe the basic functionality of MP and SNM

The Mitel Provisioning Manager course is an ILL/RLL providing an equal mix of the theoretical delivery and hands-on exercises. Equipment will be available to enable students to install, configure and test the functions, as listed above.

• How to run SNM on one Server
• How to start and install SNM automatically
