1810 Basic Elements and the Functionality of Networks

 

Networking technologies are the basis of todays production systems. The participants know the important terms used in network technology and the components of a communication network. They have an overview of the operation procedure of the data communication and communication types, interfaces and transmission procedures and functions of the various components. They know the structures and technologies in LAN and WAN and have an insight into the possibilities of ATM. Participants have an overview of client / server architectures, the connection of network structures and the realization of transitions. You know the basic elements of the network management, data security and privacy.

This course is for employees who want to learn the basic elements and functionality of networks for your daily work.

Prerequisites

Basic knowledge in dealing with Windows-based operating systems is beneficial for this course.

- Peer-to-peer and client/ Server

Network Operating Systems:

- Windows xxx

- Linux Network Workshop:

- Sharing directories and printers

- Setting up users and groups

- Share and NTFS Permissions
